Since that time, it has grown and expanded its geographical reach. We provide bespoke investment and wealth management services to our clients whom we are proud to serve. Meet the Team
Rupert Forrest
Rupert is Branch Principal of Raymond James, Thorpe Park Leeds. He is an experienced investment professional with a long-held passion for helping clients realise their unique investment goals. Rupert says; “My guiding principles are fairness, insight, trust and integrity. I am passionate about providing bespoke investment solutions to my clients and their families, helping them to achieve their long-term financial goals. My four principles run through everything that we do as a Raymond James branch and continue to aim for as investment professionals.”
A graduate of Politics & Economics from Newcastle University, Rupert began his career in wealth management with Investec Wealth & Investment Management where he created and managed discretionary portfolios for his clients. In 2011 Rupert moved to Barclays Wealth where he was responsible for looking after a range of clients from entrepreneurs to charities. Prior to working in wealth management Rupert served as a Captain in the British Army.
Rupert is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and a Chartered Wealth Manager, a designation that recognises him as an industry member at the pinnacle of his profession.
Rupert is married with two children and in his free time he enjoys surfing, keeping fit and watching England and Northampton Saints play rugby.
Matthew Wright
Matthew is an Independent Financial Adviser based at Raymond James, Thorpe Park Leeds. He has worked in financial services for over 20 years.
“I am passionate about helping individuals and their families when it comes to receiving financial advice. Where possible I always try and educate as well as advise to ensure my clients fully understand the benefit of the advice they receive. It is very rewarding when a client and/or their family members fully embrace the advice process and fully understand the benefits this provides”.
Matthew began his career in financial services in 2001 with Lloyds TSB where he spent 14 years working with clients on a one-to-one basis. More recently Matthew worked for a specialist independent financial advice company in the field of personal injury and clinical negligence. This role required Matthew to work with vulnerable clients who had suffered life changing events, as well as solicitors who were acting on their behalf during the litigation process. Matthew joined Raymond James following a spell with St. James’s Place providing holistic financial advice to a wide range of clients.
Matthew is married with 2 children, and is a keen golfer when time allows.
Tracey Collins
Tracey is the Office Manager at Raymond James, Thorpe Park Leeds and is responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the office, including client administration, queries and building client relationships.
Tracey has a background in the legal and medical industry working as a PA and Office Manager. Tracey has great organisational and interpersonal skills and specialises in keeping the office efficient and well managed.
Her spare time is taken up by hiking, yoga and swimming. Tracey is vegan and a big animal lover who rescues animals in need when she can to give them a loving home.

Matt is a Wealth Manager Trainee based at Raymond James, Thorpe Park Leeds. He recently completed his studies in Financial & Investment Management, achieving a 1st class honours degree, at York St John University. This is Matt’s first role within the financial services sector, where he is excited about learning from the experts within the Raymond James team and contributing to positive client outcomes.
Matt’s role as a Wealth Manager Trainee sees him studying towards both the CII’s Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and the CISI’s Introduction to Securities & Investments.
In his spare time, Matt is a lover of the outdoors where he spends time both camping and hiking. He also enjoys football both playing recreationally and supporting his team, Newcastle United.
Investment Committee
Rupert Forrest, as Branch Principal, sits on an investment committee with three other investment managers in the North of England. This allows the respective branches to share intellectual capital for the benefit of their clients. The different areas of expertise and insight from each experienced member of the committee helps create a robust investment process and in turn helping to generate the best investment ideas. The investment committee consists of Rupert Forrest Chartered FCSI, Robert Allman CFA, Nick Hair Chartered FCSI and Andy McNab (as below).
Robert Allman
Robert has worked in wealth management for over 14 years, most recently as a partner of wealth management business, Artorius Wealth, where he focused on advising High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients and their families on all aspects of their investments and financial planning. Prior to this, Robert spent 8 years at Barclays Private Bank where he was a member of the UK Private Bank Investment Committee. Robert holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol and is a CFA Charterholder and member of the CFA Institute. The CFA designation is considered the gold standard, (reference The Financial Times and Economist) among financial professionals and investment specialists worldwide. Outside of work Robert enjoys spending time with his family, playing squash and keeping fit through training and the occasional triathlon event.
Nick Hair
Nick has worked in the Investment management industry for over 23 years. In this time he has gained a huge amount of knowledge and experience through different market cycles. He has attained the status of Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments. He started his career as a stockbroker, before progressing to portfolio management and latterly served as Vice President at a large wealth and investment management company. Nick established Raymond James, Harrogate in 2015. He lives in Harrogate with his wife and two daughters and loves to get involved in rugby when time allows.
Andy McNab
Andy holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is also a Chartered Wealth Manager. He has worked as a Discretionary Investment Manager for over 18 years looking after a range of clients that include individuals, trusts, charities and corporates. Andy is married with two children and in his free time is a keen mountain biker.
